Hi all!

I am inland June applicant.
I received AOR from Sedney central intake in Aug.
1. Will I get another AOR from local visa office once my file is transfered to the local office?
2. I heard we get file no(application no) twice. Is it true?

Thanks!
1. Not separately from local office as far as i see from other posts - just file transfer notification.
2. No. Nowadays in the last many months we get file number and uci number in the same email.

Thanks!! So i only need to wait for medical request then. :)
I have another question. Please help me.
I have to submit 2 police records from Canada and my country.
I already sent one with my application but the other one needs to be sent. But I haven't got the email yet.

1. What if my Canadian police record is 7~8months old by the time I am requested to submit?
can I submit what I have? Or should I get new one now to be safe?

2. What about the one I already submitted with appication? It'S gonna be amost 1 year old soon.
Should I be prepared? Because it will take about 1~2months to get police record frim my country.

thank you!

1.1 Thats not an issue and submit whatever you have if you cannot get new one in 30 days. Many of us did similarly as its not easy to get some pcc from few countries. If needed they will ask again if at all the file was not adjudicated till then.
2.1 Correct. If its not going to cost much and if you know that its going to be 1 year old then you can very well get new one and keep it, just in case if they ask.

Thank you so much harirajmohan!
That helps clear my head.
I hope we all get PR card soon!
Feels like it takes forever. But I gotta be patiant!

Here is my time line

Application filled to CIO 28 may MPNP nominee ,
AOR 14 Aug
Medical request 23 DEC
Reminder email 30 DEC
Meds were done upfront (family was in Canada at the time ) 28 Aug and I sent by email to cic after requested on Dec 30.
Medicals received in ECAS 8 Jan.
And now hurry up and wait for the PR.

What is Upfront: Doing medicals before cic/vo requests for it.
What to do for it: Go to any panel doctor and tell you need to do the medicals and they will do it and give you a confirmation sheet.
After that what should i do: Send it to your visa office to request them to include in your application - mention a letter with all of your and your application detail.
Whats the difference: As this medical is not yet associated to your profile/application, it will take sometime (depending on the officer attends your email/mail, we dont know when) hence it might take sometime or may be it might happen quickly.
whats the current waiting time to get MR from inland: 2 weeks ago (we)May applicants received MR. So probably it will take few more months before Sep ones get MR (assuming you file in sep as inland).

Thank you so much Harirajmohan!

I was wondering....You have also applied for PNP via EEP or paper base application because in my Nomination Letter it was mentioned that "you will benefit from CIC's expedited processing stream". Please note that this nomination is not valid for CIC's EEP....does it make any difference in the processing time of the application ??

Mine is paper based pnp. Sorry dont know much on EE related nomination.
EE's total processing from filing till ppr is 6 months but paper based is based on respective visa office.

For inland its around 12 months. In the last 1 months both inland offices are working at its full speed. They even started on Jan/Feb applicants for ppr. If it continues it will be less than that. Let us see.

It depends on your visa office. Everyone applies to Sydney, NS and then it gets transferred to respective visa office. Are you inland? If so then they dont ask anything on that.
Very few (1 or 2) visa offices ask for some candidates. I dont think you should worry about it unless asked.

Do we really need a police certificate from Canada if we're applying within Canada?
When I applied I didn't submit one. Doesn't it say we only need to submit one if the visa office asks for one?

Nope...normally we dont need the Canada one..For some cases they request a fingerprint RCMP clearance only when there is a common name or surname etc..Then we have to obtain one..

We have to submit police certificate of the country where you lived more than 6 months for the last 10 years. If you stayed in Canada more than 6 months, you need to submit Canadian police certificate as far as I know. You can do it now and submit when they request additional documents.

Hello,
I am June inland applicant.

I would really appreciate if you help me out with this issue. I value your efforts and time.
I have submitted my PR application with my Police certificate from my home country, which took a lot of time. And I wonder now wheather visa office Sydney, NS contacts my home country authorities to double check my background again, which is going to delay my application I am afraid. Does anybody know wheather Sidney, NS contacts homecountry authorities to double check given police certificate???

Thank you!
