Overall PnP will take up to 12 moths of processing so early medical means more waiting time after medical received.
htokyo,
Which month guys are getting PPR from your visa office (based cases)? You need to compare with these applicants instead of general 70+ days MR (will not make much difference)
Is your visa office HongKong?
Some are fast and some are slow.

I have not got PPR yet, waiting for it instead :)
I guess my case is about security check because I have a long list of travel history (+15 countries)
FYI, my friend got PPR just 1 month after "medical received". It took him nine and half month for the whole process at CIC (outland, normal PNP).

Is it same visa office? ya i too heard on some applicants on security check takes longer, may be you can check the gcms notes to see if that got cleared.
Even fastest visa offices like paris and manila took 1-2 months after MR for some candidates hence 70days is normal. Mostly i could see that its 2-4 months from medical gives more chances of finalizing the applications. Will see.
Vow, 15 countries.... did you have to get PCCs too for most of them?

Yes, same VO. It is Manila
Luckily for me, I do not have to get PCC for those countries as all of my stays are less than 6 months

Is there any one here who receives PPR from Manila VO these days?

Hello everybody,

I have one more question. I'm May inland applicant.
I have made an appointment for medical exam on Jan 15.
The Dr. told me no need to bring any photos.

After medical exam, should I send any information to Sydney,NS office?
What is the IMM1017 for?
Thank you

You don't need to take photos to the med center that has emedical facility available. Once medical tests are completed doctor will upload the results to CIC with the # provided on IMM form. You have to take this form with yourself to the doctor.

I don't think it's necessary for you to send any info to CIC as its the doctors responsibility to send med results but again it's upto you, if you want you can email the form doctor will give at end of the med.

My doctor also is telling that i dont need to bring photos as they take it from their end and send it along with the medicals.
We dont need to send anything to cic. Also if we note the email we received asking us not to send anything to cic with regards to medicals.

I see, than you AVI2016 and harirajmohan :)

What is medical done upfront ? Please advise waiting for MR

Hi all!

I am inland June applicant.
I received AOR from Sedney central intake in Aug.
Will I get another AOR from local visa office once my file is transfered to the local office?
I heard we get file no(application no) twice. Is it true?

Thanks!

What is Upfront: Doing medicals before cic/vo requests for it.
What to do for it: Go to any panel doctor and tell you need to do the medicals and they will do it and give you a confirmation sheet.
After that what should i do: Send it to your visa office to request them to include in your application - mention a letter with all of your and your application detail.
Whats the difference: As this medical is not yet associated to your profile/application, it will take sometime (depending on the officer attends your email/mail, we dont know when) hence it might take sometime or may be it might happen quickly.
whats the current waiting time to get MR from inland: 2 weeks ago (we)May applicants received MR. So probably it will take few more months before Sep ones get MR (assuming you file in sep as inland).
