PNP - PR - April-May-June 2015 Applicants!

Good day all. Thank you in advance for taking time to answer my questions.

I sent my PR application to CIO, Sydney, NS and the courier company, UPS, notified me that it has been delivered on the 28th of September 2015. After this I have not received any confirmation that my file has been received by CIO them self. Must I send them an e-mail, phone them or just wait for a couple of weeks?

If I should wait, how long?

How long will it take to get a file number and how can I then track this file online? Do they send an e-mail with the file number?

it will take at least 2 months for an intial acknowledgement from cic..just wait...after 2-3 days of receiving the file no starting with EP,you can start tracking the status online

Hi Druce,

You don't need to email them for confirmation, just wait for AOR usually 60-90 days to know if your application is complete and properly filled out.

Why are you freaking out? Seems they have made a decision, stamped your passport with PR visa and returning it to you. You should party once you get your passport. Check your ECAS.

As per recent MR emails from cio, they are sending in batches in sequence for inlands. Some march guys got it last month but not sent for rest of the march applicants. So we will have to wait for May month turn.

Why are you freaking out? Seems they have made a decision, stamped your passport with PR visa and returning it to you. You should party once you get your passport. Check your ECAS.

My ECAS still says they want me to get Medical done and pay RPRF. I wonder why that's not updating. Anyways cant do much other than getting anxious till the mail package comes back from Ottawa.

Got my EP on July 8th

even I have the same time line .. no updates yet mine on April 17.

mine is April 21 just one line too... hopefully April applicant medical request comes now! so that before winter we are all healthy and in good condition

Hi, They received my application for PR on April 30, 2015. i did not hear anything after that and i also have only 1 line saying "We received your application for permanent residence on April 30, 2015" Should i be worried about this ?

Canada's Federal election is this coming October 19, we maybe expect slowing down this month.

Hi ness12, Of course buddy , Apr will receive MR before May but i told May because he/she was talking about May.

Hi mryoso, I wish it doesnt slow much , let us see :-X. Cant do much.

I hope MR comes for me before end of the year at least.
