See I called cic last Friday regarding AOR as I worried because I forgot to sign one form and then I signed the form and sent it ,so I called them and asked weather they consider the form or not or they gonna return the file and within conversation I asked to checked if there was anything related to my UCI she checked and advised me that they just started working on file today so u will have aor within few days ,and on Tuesday I called them again and asked weather they returned the file or not .. then I asked her to put note on my application about additional document I sent them .......so I would strongly suggest you to call them and ask your status-explain them about your situation

I phoned CIC re AOR, takes 18 weeks maximum before receiving.
App received MAy 26 , submitted Sydney NS

Once your application for perm residency is submitted to CIC b4 your nomination expires you are good. It doesn't matter if you haven't rec'd your AOR as yet...you have already locked in your date from when you application was received.

Application received on May8th. Got AOR July 20th. My friend whose application was received on May 10th also got her AOR on the same day.

actually my AOR now is 03 Aug 2017 since that was when NS sent me an email acknowledging that they received my complete application.
what I received on 21 June was only UCI and application no., but my documents were still incomplete back then..
