Hello Everyone,

I have got my Provincial Nomination and I trying to get documents ready for the paper based application for Permanent Residence and was wondering if you guys can ask a few of my questions:

1) When you submit the document copies, do all the "copies" needs to be True Certified by the notary.

2) For the National ID Card, since I am from India, it will be Aadhar Card, what did you write for the date of issue and expiry. I am asking this because Aadhar Card never expires. It doesn't come with the expiry date.

3) For the police certificate and Clearances, it says that I must get a police certificate from each country or territory where I have lived for six or more months in a row since the age of 18. I have been living in Canada since the age of 16 and I haven't lived in any other country for a total of 6 months or more. Does that mean I only have to get the police certificate from Canada or do I still need to get a police certificate from my country of Citizenship?

4) I know it doesn't say anywhere in the document checklist, but we need to submit our school/university mark sheets as well to the application.

5) And finally, in the Generic Application Form to Canada (IMM 0008) , question 10 says Current Country of residence, what dates do I put in the From and To section. I ask this because initially my status was that of a student and now it is a worker. Do I put the issue and expiry date of my work permit?

I got aor 2 months ago n my friends also this iswhat we did
1. Not all.... only those stated on checklist.
2.am also from india n i left national identity blank.
3.only canada in that case.
4.u donot need to send it... if u donot have birth certificate then u may need matriculation with explanation letter.
5.i entered work permit.

Hello Im newbie, I just got my EOI from MPNP - usually how long would i receive the nomination?

You mean to say LAA? Letter of Advice to Apply? I'm MPNP-SW applicant.

Here's my timeline:

Dec 2015 - EOI
July 2016 - LAA
Sept 2016 - Received App, MPNP file number
May 2017 - Nomination

So from EOI to Nomination it took me 1 year and 4 months . I don't know with the others, maybe it's a case to case basis

*sigh* 16 months just for my Nomination from EOI...

I think I need another 16 months for CIC processing.... T_T patience is a virtue
