Just received my PPR. Below are my timelines

We received your application for permanent residence on April 15, 2015.
We started processing your application on July 11, 2015.
Medical results have been received.

I am guessing it would take about 2 weeks from now to receive the passport and there on the easiest way is to drive to the US border and get the stamp.

I saw in the other threads, some had to wait up to 20 days while the average is 2 weeks

What date were your medicals received by CIC?

The CIC website dint update that information. But if i remember correctly, it was somewhere just before Christmas.

Has anybody ever heard from CIC agent saying "decision made"status could be a mistake?? Thats what he told me to my consultant today. He said he don't know how long it's going to take to finalize the application or ask for passports. Even my representative is in limbo now. Its been 2 weeks i got DM and now they are saying it could be a mistake. Canadian immigration system is crippled.

Have you consider the possibility that your consultant is dumb and doesn't know what they're doing?

Or maybe the PPR email that went to them got stuck in their junk and couldn't find it

just be patient, there is never ever that they made mistake
Not only you, many causes need to be wait, sorry

This is not true. There are past cases where a case was rejected and closed wrongfully. After appeal to CIC, the files is reopened.

That's why it's better not to hire a consultant unless you are not that educated or have a complicated situation. I would never trust a consultant with email communication.
