Hi Stacnor,
Congratulations on your landing! I bet the feeling when you walked out of their office was awesome.
What documents did you print with you beside the CoPR and passport? Did you have to pre-fill a PRC application? The letter they send did say much about what docs to bring. I am planning on landing this evening at Pacific Arch.

Hi Vdang, thank you! What we brought yesterday were passports, CPR and supporting documents (the officer didn't ask for them anymore). Don't fill up your CPR unless the officer will tell you to do so.

Stacnor,

Thanks for the prompt response! As for supporting documents, I will just bring them, just in case. I'm thinking of bring my the stack of documents I used for the PR application, employment verification and maybe a couple of envelop with my name and address on. Did you bring anything else other that those? photos?

Vdang,

That's perfect. Bring what you have especially the documents related to your application. And you should be good

Thanks. I was under the impression that Ottawa asks RPRF for in-land applicants, but I was wrong.

Brothers and sisters,
I LANDED last night at Douglas - Peace Arch. The process is finally over and I am so happy. The landing process was very simple. I drove to the US border and told the officer I was flagpoling. He sent me into the Custom building and waited there. I went at 10 PM so there was not a lot of people there and not a lot of officers working neither. So I waited at the border crossing on the US side and in the building for a total of a about an hour. An officer came back and looked at my Orange Sticker, and gave me a white sheet. He told me to take that sheet to the Canadian side. Then He walked me out to the parking lot and directed me to the return to Canada line. Once I'm at the Canadian side, the officer asked me the usual questions (did I bring more than 10 k with me? any firearms, etc.) And he asked why landing so late. I told him I just got back from work. He then sent me to the parking lot where another officer showed me where to park and directed me to the building. I didn't have to wait for long in the building. The officer there looked at my paper and asked me to amend a few other things about my status - marital status, criminality and dependency - and had me initialed those points on the CoPR. After about 10 minutes, he called me back and told me that I'm now a PR. He ripped off my work permit and said I don't need it anymore (Best moment of the whole trip). Then he provided some information on applying for medicare and SIN #. That's it. very quick and straight forward. The officer at the US border looked grouchy but he was very nice. The Canadian agents who processed my paperwork was very nice and polite also. Canadian agents tend to look more civilized and not as intimidating as their US counterpart.

My landing process couldn't have been easier I hope all you who are still waiting will experience the same. Have faith and things will work out in the end.

Best,
VDang

Can any of you guys tell me how i get to know whether my RPRF bank Draft has been cashed out or not???/

I sent the RPRF fee as a Bank Draft but i forgot to print my name on the back of the Bank Draft. Would that be a problem? My visa office is manila.

Do they update in ecas after they receive the money?

I have a question that does Sydney ask for RPRF or Ottawa asks? Anyone who already got RPRF, please where did you get your RPRF request from?
