Hello everyone,
Would you please advise on this:
I got my PhD from UBC on Jan 2014, then PNP acceptance letter on July 2014 and then sent my documents to CIC on September 2014. I am still waiting for the file number and etc. After my PhD and about 8 month working as a postdoc I got a job in Ontario and I moved on October 2014. I have applied for many jobs in BC and had couple of interviews but not succeed going back to BC yet. Here are my questions:
1- What steps should I take to be safe?
2- Can I apply for Express PNP?
3- have you ever seen such situation and what will be the outcome?

2- responding to the second question first as it feeds into the first. You cannot apply for Express Entry via the PNP route on the basis of your 2014 BC nomination. To apply under express entry in 2015 under PNP, you need to get a 2015 PNP certificate with a province participating the EE. I'm not sure Ontario is one of them. BC DOES participate in the EE PNP nomination stream but I doubt you'll be nominated again...you've moved.
1- Do you qualify for CEC ? This may be a better route for you. You can also work with your employer to trigger the employer driven route

Hello Everyone,
I would like to inform fellow forum members that I have just right now received AOR and UCI number, exactly after 5 months. My file was received by CIC on 22nd September 2014 and AOR received on 17th February 2015.
Hope fully this will give a ray of hope of good news to other PNP applicants waiting for AOR. YES, CIC has started processing PNP applicants files.
