I applied Sep 2014 got AOR last December 2014 and medical request and RPRF this January.

we paid RPRF online last Jan 21, 2015 and We had our medical yrsterday but i was adivised to retake urinalysis.

ECAS now shows "In Process".

any body got medical who applied in AUG OR SEP 2014..the applicants who applied from outside canada. i got my AOR and still awaiting for medical.

I applied on september 30, 2014 filed reached on october 3rd, 2014. I am just wondering is there a total cap for pnp applicants under cic for a year.

One of my friends applied after oct 20th, 2014 under experience class and they are returning his file cause they said they have reached their total cap of 8000 for the year

we paid RPRF online last Jan 21, 2015 and We had our medical yrsterday but i was adivised to retake urinalysis.

ECAS now shows "In Process".

Medical Received : November 15
Medical Update : December 4

I got nominated end of September, sent my files to CIC Sydney a month later, waiting until then. I called my agent two weeks ago asking why my credit card still hadn't been charged. She agreed to contact CIC. Then my credit card got charged a week later, which showed up this Monday in my bank statement.

Some other information you may also find useful provided by my agent:

Before, it takes a month from getting charged to receiving AOR.
takes another month from AOR to Med request.
takes 4 months from they receiving Med to start process your case.
Then you wait.
My friend, who did Med in March last year, is still waiting.

That means, if in March, which is only a month away, he can get his passport request, and if I can also get my Med request, I still have to wait at least another year. Plus the the 5 months I would have been already waiting (October to March), that's 17 months, which is the number posted on the CIC website for current processing time.

You can expect a longer processing time as now EE promises a 6-month. Without adding new staff, a shorter EE processing time is at the great expense of a longer waiting time for those who submitted earlier under the old system. Also, those who got their Nomination before the EE can't get that extra 600 points, which means even if they also participate in the EE, they won't be selected. I won't consider that as a fair procedure.
