kindly help me.

I had applied Quebec immigration file in july 2013 as single and then in November,i got married and i told my agent to hold my file and he had done so.

Now i want to continue my file and want to include my husband.

But my agent is not giving me my file no.


Can i get my file no. from Canadian embassy. or from other source except my agent.

Please reply.

maybe your agent didn't pass your application yet that is why they don't have your file no. yet.. cause with the use of a representative / agent you're giving them the right or permission to conduct business on your behalf you will not be able to receive anything from the immigration they are the ones who have it and receive it. i suggest u cancel or terminate your appointment or contract to your representative and get all the papers and cert you gave them.

You do not need to hire an immigration representative. It is up to you. Using one will not get your application special attention or guarantee it will be approved.

You can get all the forms and information that you need to apply for a visa for free on the internet and submit them on your own.

just my opinion it is still up to you.. ;D

Looking at the most recent timeline the ones who reached and received by CIC on September 12 received their File Number on December 5, so I hope you will receive yours by the end of December.

I really am not worried if they have processed the payment. I paid online when I prepared my application on September 13, and I am still waiting for my AOR. I should be getting my AOR within next two weeks according to the recent timeline.

from last week i saw only two applicant got aor and they applied from outside canada.
hope who all waiting aor from last two weeks will get it by end of this week.
