Hi guys,

Just wondering if my 'Post-Graduate Working Permit' is expired during this application, what should I do?
Mine is valid until this October, and I don't think I can get a PR until then.

My timeline is..

I sent my application to Sydney on September 23, 15, and they received it September 26, 15.
I got my AOR on February 23, 2015.


Please reply me those who know the answer..

I think you can renew/re-apply if ur Pg working permit expires pending when ur prv is issued.

My application received by CIC on 1st October 2014 but no AOR yet. I am Ontario PNP applicant. I am worried as cic is now issuing AOR to applicants who applied on 2nd October. Have no idea why they are not giving AOR to Ontario applicants.

GUYS...I am confused...

I got my AINP which is expiring on 1st week of April......My work permit is Expiring on Mid of May I dodnt got My file number yet....I applied my PR 1st week of December last year....Do I need LOR( Letter of Recommendation) from AINP also am I eligible to apply OWP or BOWP or work permit extension.....what i have to do pls guide me ....

Hi I'm AINP applicant as well, my work permit was about to expire ,before i got AINP nomination, so I was waiting for a new LMO, to extend, but i got my nomination and applied for OWP, but got WP tied to my employer for another 2 years, you just need the nomination letter to attach to your
application, as far as i know you can apply for an Open Work permit when you get the file number from CIO,
It is your decision apply now or wait for file number.

You can just apply for an open Work permit with your application number

Just apply for an open work permit with your file number

Ontario PNP applicants seem to have a much back dated timeline and they seem to be further backlogged.

I don't know what's going on in CIC. My file reached 18th sept.. I am ON PNP AND no AOR yet...

I was thinking that your file was returned to you so might be now its gone to a same officer who checked it earlier and that might be a reason for your AOR delay. I know how hard it is to wait especially when someone applied after you get AOR and you don't. Just pray to God. God listen to prayers.

Yea... But I don't think that's the reason as they mentioned that they wont have any record of my application when I got my file back. Not only me, applicant from May and June haven't received their AOR yet. They all are ONPNP...
