I have a question, how do you guys know when cic got your APP?
For myself, I checked Canada post's tracking number, but no one from CIC told me they received my APP on which date.
Is it same thing to you guys?

If u sent it through registered courier, somebody's signature wwi appear online if you check with the tracking # it will also show what date they receuved your application.

Call up the call center they might have some notes on you file.

I phoned CIC call center before. the customer service guy told me that they do not look after PNP case and asked me to write email to Sydney.
so I wrote a email to Sydney, a monther later, they replied me that they had receieved my APP, and would send me notification in due course........
so I assume I am an applicant on OCT, cause Canada post tracking information showed CIC signatured on OCT 6TH.

I got my AINP which is expiring on 1st week of April......My work permit is Exiring on Mid of May I dodnt got My file number yet....I applied my PR 1st week of December last year....Do I need LOR( Letter of Recommendation) from AINP also am I eligible to apply OWP or BOWP or work permit extension.....what i have to do pls guide me ....

Don't know about Ainp, but when I got my Sinp certificate, I also got a letter came with it said I can extend my work permit if I need. My current work permit will be expired in 2016 so I have not considered this yet.

U may check with AINP? See what they may advise you.

Hi your AINP cert will serve as your LMIA for extension, however you cannot apply for open work permit with only your cert you need to have file # or AOR from CIC, you can apply for closed wp however, the expiry date on your cert doesnt mean the certificate is expired, that is the dedline of the submission of your PR application. Your cert will not expire it will always be valid. The info I am sharing with u right now are the infos I got from AINP. I called them myself. Hope that clears your mind. You should also check the application for wp extension as they changed the procedure, your employer needs to pay $230 as LMIA exempt

You should be able to track it with the number given to you by the courier or you call the courier office to assist you.
