Thanks guys!
Sent my passports today :)
Yes I did...I wrote an email to CIC in Cydney since I didn't know where are my documents and after a month got an answer that my file has been approved and the case is in Ottawa, then I emailed to Ottawa and got an email to send everything after 2 days. ..
I don't know if it was that fast respond or just a coincidence though.

So interesting. Big congrats :D :D :D

Hamid Khan

It all depends to the officer and your case, my file was IP Since June 16 , and recently they updated ECAS and made it IP Since Feb 23. I am still IP and waiting for DM. I am Sep 21 applicant. But I know many people who got DM just a month after IP. Keep your hope up high!

Hamid, my timeline from IP to DM was almost exactly two months . IP July 20th, DM Sept 17th. The sheet used to track timelines shows a rolling shift. July, August , Sept - most people stayed in IP for about 8 week (2 months), DM to PPR (4 - 5 weeks). For certain applicants in first half of October, DM to PPR was between 2 - 4 weeks. As always, you have outliers - those that got DM and PPR same day, within a week etc. I remember your case was transferred to Ottawa early. I think it is very likely that you skip DM and go straight to PPR. I have observed that Ottawa files (files transfered to Ottawa prior to DM) don't go through DM phase. Almost like they don't have the DM button in Ottawa. Here's the part that is not precise - Ability to tell when you'll get PPR is hard. It could be sudden move to PPR within a few days or take long. I wish you the best

Need expert advise
What decision made means , is it positive sign?
What it means approved or decline ?
Thanks in advance

Assumption - You're an inland applicant and visa office is Ottawa. If you don't meet this assumption, disregard what you read below

Decision made is a positive sign IF

1) It comes after you've been asked to pay RPRF fee and have indeed made the payment (or at the same time)
2) If, based on your timeline it makes sense to get DM now and aligns with others that applied the same time as you and are getting DM made too.
Example right now, most applicants NOV 14 & DEC 14 are getting DM ( +/- 1 month depending on additional docs request). If you applied NOv14 or Dec 14 and got Decision Made (DM) you're almost certain to have been approved.

The statement above is not a guarantee but a very high likelihood.

Generally when CIC rejects an applicant, you get DM either very early in your application process / wait or much later versus (more than 3 months) other people with similar timeline
