PNP PR APPLICATION JUNE 2014

Me and my wife apply for the AINP on 20th June 2014. We got the file no on August 2014. But still we didnt get any answer from the AINP yet. (But one of my frd apply on Dec 3 2014 and he got the approval on 30 March 2015?????????? ) How come??

Depending upon the category they are issuing AINP certificate. One of my friend applied in November 2013 and he got his approval last week. He applied in food category.

Simple. Because at that time the "Alberta Work Experience Category" had not created yet the huge backlog that they have now. At that time , the processing times were from 1 month to 3 months, now it's up to 2 years or more. check this:

ANd like somebody posted before, they are not even processing applications on a first-come-first-served basis anymore. Hopefully, they start to go back to normal soon..

do you think CIC call centre representatives make notes on file each time we call to ask something?

Yes they do .... on my file at least. When I called them the 3rd time in March (after a two week gap between each call) the agent knew that I had called before.

But there's nothing they can do about it and they know it. They are not immigration officers and dont have the ability to change or influence our files. So even if you call them every day (not something that i'm advising ... just an example) it makes no difference to them.

it depends. I know ppl May 26 got PPR already, and friend applied on June 23 got DM couple days ago. But I am May 23 still in IP and no decision has been made....

same boat - i'm an april applicant.

Been two months since my ECAS changed to In Process....!! No news after that...!!
I am an Ontario Applicant with AOR on May 05th 2014.
Any idea how long the wait will be? :-[
