It took me 7 days to get the Work Visa with my job offer on file.

Hi Amam,
I also applied work permit with my job offer from manitoba and after submitting the additional document requested by High commission of canada to the second day of online apply.... i am waiting for my passport request and it has been 14 days.....can you tell me how long they gonna take to ask for my passport for the visa??

Hey Bro:

I had the same situation. CPP sent back My application because of a signature missing in IMM008 (Schedule4). so printed off and signed only that form and sent back to cpp and cpp has received on August 25, 2014. Its 55 days as of october 20, 2014 and no response from cpp.

have you received a file # and medical request?

AOR + MR: August 27
Medicals done: October 7 (was quite sick in between so had to postpone the medical a bit)
Medicals received: October 18

yeah i got medical on 8th oct

Just a suggestion! Why not add a new column for date of phone calls/email from OPNP/CIC?

does anyone have idea how long does cic takes to update medical recieved status after the panel physician sent the medical report. as per my panel physician they send my medical report on 16th oct 2014 and im waiting how long will it take to get updated on ecas.

Second when the option comes that for how long we need to extend it then what should be they right answer
Permanent, less than six months, more than six months or temporary

as far as i know u can apply for open workpermit before 4 months of ur work permit expires.and the open workpermit will have 1 year validity.

Hi, you can send the application with out police clearance but at later stage Cic going to ask about it , which would delay your application processing.
