I have a Dilemma. Here is my Story, I finished school last year and was told about the nominee program when the processing time was 3 weeks. I didnt apply then and now that i want to apply, they say it takes 12 to 14 months at the minimum and on top of that, the economic class takes an additional 17 months. My work permit expires in May 2016 and i have been stressing out for days now.
So my question to everyone, is it better to apply to the Federal Skilled worker program which takes 25 months(may change) or to AINP and economic (17 months + 14 months = 31months) ? People say its easier to go thru AINP as it is usually less than the estimated time.

I don't think it takes 17 months for PNP PR. From past timelines, it seems to take around 8-12 months.

so at 10 months, you'll be just fine. lol

Once you apply and and your application is in process with CIC, you can always get a bridge work permit after your current permit expires. Dont see why you are stressing out.

If someone gives us a reliable info on whats going on then that wud be greatly appreciated. However so i have got nothing from cic or opnp ppl. Opnp peeps were greatly helpful at the nomination stage and i understand they don't have any control over cic so cic might be the primary source of any update.

which country u r from ?I received AOR after 2 months on 15th August and after that 1 month passed away n still no MR or anything.

the stickers dont really matter much.

those little red stickers already cost us $1500 though, ridiculous. We should have applied under CEC on the first place.

I finally received AOR yesterday September 16th, application submitted June 11th, the email said cc was charged on 9th September and file has now been put into process. So I guess the wait is now for the Medical Request
