Ontario applicants anything?
i received a second email response from CIO, 20 days after the first email, saying that it is going through initial review and will get back in due course. Similar language as the last email.
P.S I did not send them second query, they just decided to respond again.

It seems like cic has started sending aor to applicants except ontario pnp.

I dont think they stopped for other applicants. Only ontario. Once they start sending them out again. We will be among the first to get AOR as people who sent the apps in a week or so before us got their AOR months ago.
CIO never replied to my email either. Over a month as well on that as well.

i felt there was a temporary stall for other provinces/countries also last week but now they are getting it. And still nothing for us.

Is it worth going to the Opportunities Ontario office to ask them about why we haven't received the AOR yet?

If someone gives us a reliable info on whats going on then that wud be greatly appreciated. However so i have got nothing from cic or opnp ppl. Opnp peeps were greatly helpful at the nomination stage and i understand they don't have any control over cic so cic might be the primary source of any update.

I have applied in April 2014 online application in manitoba website in Friend sponsor..and after I sent settlement plan after few days..
But application status Received no process yet so plz tell me how much time it belong to complete from manitoba or approval letter?and ideas plz share..

tsaini: thanks for the link. although i think this is for cic queries. but if it is still with cio which is the case for aor waiting applicants, it will not work. when i called cic a while ago she said i shud send email to cio only.
i cud be wrong... no loss in trying..thanks

if your file is with CIO and you did not AOR till the 10th week of your application received, only then you will get the answer of your email.

CIC sent my friend's pr application back last week Friday because she didn't fill out a particular form properly. she applied through the ontario provincial nominee- masters graduate stream sometime towards the end of June.

I guess they have started attending to the ontario applications finally. hopefully we will all hear from them soon

thanks missp... there was another applicant who got document request in june (spreadsheet) and they have been charging cc too... It does not explain why some applications pending since mid may. They have been reviewing but holding on to all...
