I'm also in the same boat as you, Intellectgyani. I have been on DM since May 13 but no PPR email since then. If I may ask you, what is your timeline?

App filed - July 15
AOR - Last week of Jan
Medicals done - Mar 4
IP - April 16
DM - may 19

Do you know if your file is in sydney or ottawa. If DM was made by Sydney, they will likely transfer file to Ottawa before handing out PPR and the transfer takes a good few weeks.

It could also be that they are prioritizing PPR by data application was received and if that is the case you will get it soon as well.
Just think of other stuff and keep yourself busy.

How can i check if my file is in sydney or ottawa? Online? If so i dont see it in my ecas? or do i call CIC agents

i have seeen too many of us are 19th may DM.... all are waiting for PPR.. dont know what the heck is wrong and we not getting PPR. .. tired of waiting.

You can ask CIC agents or if you have the GCMS notes, it is mentioned there.
I know my file moved to ottawa around early April and there was 3 week black hole when nothing was done on it.

I've received my passport today and planning to drive to the border (ogdensburg) to see if I can finish the process tonight. Is there anything else I need to bring in addition to the files came in the mail ( haven't opened the mail yet, thus no idea what's in there)?

Hi,

Did any one send your copr back to ottawa for correction? I had to send it back for correcting my marital status. How long does it take to get the new copr? Please note that I had contacted cic about the error in copr and they replied me advising sending my copr back to them. They also gave a urgent code to quote while sending my copr. I have a planned vacation in july. I am really worried about how long it may take to get the new one. Any one having the same experience, please share your case. Thank you very much for you time.

I called twice, the first one was a man, he told he couldnt go through my file unless 17 months, the second one was a nice lady, she asked me a lot of information and told me congrats my case is passed...ppr email will send soon...but I wait another week, nothing heard..((((((((((( really really annoying.. everyday's waiting is torturing me!!!
