Ok thanks. Did you figure out what is the reason to ask new birth certificate.

i got an email from Ottawa saying:

>Birth registration/certificate: Your Birth Certificate supplied in your file is unacceptable due to a discrepancy. Please provide a new birth certificate showing: Name, Parents Names, and Birth Date. Note: If you are unable to obtain a birth certificate, an affidavit or educational transcript is acceptable showing: Name, Parents Names, and Birth Date.
I am planning to send my 10th and 12th CBSE certificates for this. The certificates are bilingual (Hindi/English) so i suppose i dont need to get them translated
Has anybody else done that???

I have not done that. But if they have mentioned educational certificate, then you can send your 10th or 12th. As far as language, if there is english in the certificate you dont need to translate. My birth certificate had english and bengali. I never got a doc request on the same as of now. if you still have doubts, call cic. thats the best thing to do. As annoying it is to call call centre, it saves a lot of time on long term.

No transits. Only destinations.

Hi Deepdeep,

I see that you are knowledgable about immigration stuff. Could you please explain to me what is the difference between inland and outland applicants? I am in Ontario and I applied as Provincial Nominee. I received an email from CIO saying that my file has been sent to Visa office outside of Canada (in Europe). I can see here in the discussion that the only offices mentioned are Sydney and Ottawa. Do I miss anything? Am I considered an inland applicant? If yes, why my application has been sent to an office outside Canada? For example, are you inland or Outland applicant and is your application processed in or out of Canada?

Sending file what I know is that they do background check and criminal check etc. They get in touch with the Canadian embassy in
the country your are from as well.
Correct me guys if I am wrong. :-X

If you are unable to get a new birth certificate made in english with your parents name ans everything on it. You can get an affidavit made as well from your town. It is very easy to get it made. You can send that along with your school transcripts.

All the best with sending transcripts, you should be fine with that as well

Got AOR around end of September with MR.
Was done with medical on 10th October.

Ordered GCMS notes last March 25 but have not receive the notes yet until now. What should I do? I cannot find a phone number to call. Sent them an email already.

My first round of notes took 35 days. I'm sure you'll get them any day now. Remember that the Easter holidays took out a few days from government workers.

Thank you for your reply.
Do you mean they will send the application for every or most of the applicants to the visa office for background check then the application will come back to Canada?
I am from Syria but my application has been sent to Romania as it is the office responsible about Syrian applicants.
Could you please let me know what visa office did you mention in the form when you filed your application?
