PNP PR application December 2014 applicant

IP since Aug 28...
I think it will not come soon in my case... I have read in my notes that the due date of my application is April 2016.

it's frustrating! confused!

My notes say Due date is April 28, 2016. But bear in mind the WHOLE process must be done by the due date not the decision...

Those who requested and received gcms notes -- did they arrive in email/regular mail and how many days it took cic to send gcms notes.
I requested on 15 oct they said 30 days -- its almost 30 days

My application was received on dec 16 2014. IP since sep 1, additional documents send on Sep 15

I requested notes via email so mine came via email and it took exactly 30 calendar days. Once you receive them please let us know what they say. Thanks

ive said that because of some cases I have read in this forum, they received the decision a few days before the due date...

I'm ONE of You, remember? ;D) but all of you must try to be strong, focused and stay grounded during these trying (and testing) times.. My suggestion for all those who REFRESH your ECAS profile every second of every day to see changes, please [red]DON'T[/red] coz [blue]"Anticipation brings Disappointment"[/blue] (when you see that things are not moving forward as you expect). What I usually do is check my Status (on ECAS) every Morning (after I wake up) and every Night (before I hit the sack). That's it. Just TWICE every day only b'coz I want to TRACK the exact date of the update. When I don't see anything new, I think to myself.. Ok, maybe tonight and when I don't see anything later that night, I think tomorrow morning, perhaps!! Like I always say, I Keep The Hope Burning Bright, guys! You did your part and now its up to CIC. All you need right now is to have a little more patience and belief!

Just Be Thankful for this Opportunity (and the journey itself) instead of feeling depressed, agitated, confused or tired among other emotions. No matter what you think, things will happen only when the timing is right. [blue]It's not when you want it but when God wants YOU to have it (PR)[/blue].

to be patient and believe in the system I have 101% of that but if you are in restoration and it working for 6 months it's a different story.[/size]

Gratz! That was fast. We sent passport the same day (probably) but my return tracking number is not activated yet.


EDIT: Tracking number has been activated in the afternoon.

1- I just find out that for some nationalities CIC doesn't request security check through CSIS which makes their application a lot faster (CIC will run the security check which is not that deep). For other people, they will request a security check which will take 3 to 6 months.
2- The security check is out of CIC hands, so even if you call them they cannot give you more information. You just have to wait.
3- if you received your GCMS note, you will see that the security check is not started or is in process and the due date for that to complete is exactly at 15 months from when CIC received your application. Interesting...
4- However, this doesn't mean that it will take 15 months for sure. The security check result might come faster than that.
5- You can order your GCMS note online and you will receive it by email. it will take 30 to 35 days.

This sounds accurate and logical so I'm not questioning you, but do you have a source? What is the list of countries that can bypass CSIS?
