Do you guys know that when we have to extend our work permit? 4 months?

I applied for restoration on November 18,2015.No answer from them yet.From the date of the restoration application i received medical and CIC asked me to update Schedule A as there was a gap in the work permit status.I wrote in the schedule A that i'm in Canada currently waiting for work permit and not working-which i'm not,as it's illegal.It's not illegal to stay in the country until you get a restoration/work permit result.

My work permit extension was denied as they said they didn't received my pnp nomination which we did upload online.Maybe it was a glitch in the system.There was someone else on this forum who received PPR while in restoration so should be ok.

truly frustrating because I lost my dream job, and no income for many months, living became a problem.

but then I received PPR in february 9th and now waiting for pr card and got another job. it doesn't affect at all.

Did CIC request to submit a new Schedule A-Background declaration when you were in restoration?
You have no idea how helpful is your answer.I'm still waiting for both PPR and Work permit/restoration.

Same case here guys! my WP renewal was denied, been out of work for 3 months, and still no further result with my restoration/WP, and neither my PR application.
really frustrating and devastating thinking how to survive every single day without any income at all! :'( :'( :'(

I was required Schedule A before I applied for restoration, i think there is no absolute link between the two. Best wishes

Hi Goku80.. just wondrin when did cic received your application?mine is Jan 5, 2015 and still IP..really frustrating!!!don't know whats wrong with the processor.. :'(

its been a long long wait for us. my family and I had our medicals done in May 2015, paid our RPRF in July, then cic asked me for additional docs (schedule background A and proof of common-law) on Sep 16, which i submitted and they received it on Sep 28, since then, no updates at all,,even a single email..from then and til now my ECAS is IP..and i've been on a restoration from Dec 18.
