Hello all,

Here's the email address: CPC-CTD-Ottawa@cic.gc.ca

Alternatively, you may simply fill a Case Specific Enquiry directly to Ottawa (From the options on where your application is being processed, select inside Canada) and ask them for your visa office.

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/contacts/web-form.asp

They'll tell you whether or not your file has been transferred to a visa office and the specific visa office.

I'll also suggest that you consider ordering your GCMS Notes to know what exactly is going on with your application.

There is no problem with writing to your visa office to find out the status of your application. Usually if your application has exceeded the 180 days timeline, they'll respond. If not, they may choose to respond or not. In any case, their responses are usually generic responses depending on what's going on with your file. E.g. Awaiting review of visa officer, undergoing further verification, undergoing further background check, still within regular processing timeline, etc.

You may consider ordering your GCMS notes to know specifics about your application.

Hi all

Been in IP2 16 days today.. When is the time to start getting concerned about the dreaded security screening? Visa office is Ottawa AOR Aug 3rd..

Seems by looking at tracker time in IP2 for applicants at Ottawa varies greatly but I'm worrying!

I believe that you should hear a positive response soonest. Appears generally anything from 30-days one may begins to get a bit concerned.

However, there are also exceptions and the best way to determine if in SS and avoid speculation is to order your GCMS notes.

Why PNP outland is so slow ? seems like FSW-O process is fast , on another hand PNP candidate already reviewed by province don't you guys think PNP process should move faster ?

Yep it's the everlasting mystery of CIC. I guess since its more PnPs than FSWs the work load is greater in that stream.

I don't think , if you pool PNP candidate never cross over 400 means score over 600-1200. However the processing time as per CIC both streams are same 6 month or less , FSW-O or PNP

Guys, today I got a request from Singapore visa office (SGVO) to pay my RPRF fees and send the receipt in one envelope. My questions are:
1. Do I really have to send the hard copy receipt to SGVO or just uploading the receipt would be enough?
2. After even uploading the receipt, do I have to send the receipt to SGVO via e-mail?

Note: I am EE PNP Ontario applicant (not paper-based).

@BillHyatt would really appreciate your input one more time.
