It seems like some of these Masters OPNP applications aren't getting AOR.
They are getting the OPNP right away after a very long time. True?

They were not taking application beginning of last Nov 2015....so got them all together in Jan 2016 so may be bit late but hopefully you will get it ..... Good Luck!

what do you mean by "stopped" - do you mean they returned the packages back?
or are you referring to how the cap reached on Nov 16 ? (I mean... That's not beginning of Nov...)

Hi choyibear, for what I understand from your post you are still waiting for the nomination letter. Also your work permit is expiring coming June. Well, I don't think you should receive the permanent residency by June at all. They will take much more time. I would suggest you to apply for an extension of the work permit and CIC will ask you the "labor market opinion" but should not be a problem considering you have the employment letter, right?

You extension will take 120 to 130 days so I would also recommend to apply BOWP as I did on the basis of PNP nomination....

Hi luckychamp,

can we apply BOWP without getting the FN from CIC? I mean how high the chance is to get approved?

Hi Genesis76,

Thanks for your suggestion.
I will apply for BOWP after I get the nomination, otherwise I would probably get rejected as LMO is very hard to get. My employer would have to prove that there is no Canadian can do my job.
The good news is I got my pnp AOR today! And if the nomination comes within 90 days, my pgwp will not have expired and I will have implied status starting then, which means as long as I don't leave Canada I can legally continue working.

Thanks luckychamp. I was worried my nomination won't arrive in time, but I got my AOR today so I think I will get nominated before my PGWP expires! I will then apply for BOWP.
