@scylla what if I am the primary applicant and my wife is a dependent. After getting Ontario PNP and after applying for our PR application, she gets a contract job in NS, but I still intend to reside in ON. We plan that after her contract ends, she will move back with me. Is this allowed? The nomination letter only mentioned my intention to reside in ON which is still the same.

Hi,

I was nominated by Ontario last year and I submitted my PR application last year. However, due to the pandemic, I have not heard back from IRCC. Now I am offered a three-year contractual job in Nova Scotia. The job is in my area of expertise. It will boost my profile and will make it easy for me to find a job in Ontario. However, I am not sure how to proceed with work visa since my nomination with Ontario is under-process. Should I write to IRCC and Ontario that my intention is still to permanently moved to Ontario and this is a temporary move that will help me to find a job in Ontario? Any suggestion in this regard will be appreciated. Thanks
Hey I just need to confirm so did you went through with the NS work visa while waiting for the PR application?

If you move to another province before PR then you risk having your PR application refused. So you have to be willing to accept this risk if you move provinces.

Thank you for providing the information. Also one more thing to confirm how much time I have to stay in the province after PR before moving out?

There's no black and white rule around this. Your PR card must be mailed to an address in your nominating province. Also, when you land, it cannot look like you are planning to immediately move elsewhere.
