Just received another update in my CIC account.
Only BG status is chnaged. Don't know which stage am i now.
BG: Your application is in progress. We will send you a message when we start your background check.

Have you passed eligibility? I saw that you had MEP. We’re also checking daily but it seems they havent opened our application because it just shows we are reviewing eligibility

Nothing's changed since submission... and I am the kind of person who will check my account every day... sometimes several times... just to make sure

Same here. But you are on final stage and i am still waiting for window for EOI Very long gap between windows 5 months already!

I think because of our fast processing in nbpnp nomination made us impatient in cic stage lol. We expected the nbpnp to be 2-3 months but it was less than a month.

So now we are hoping to get ppr in 2 months although we plan to move in canada next year maybe around april-june.

I keep telling myself that if NBPNP had taken the normal time for processing we would probably only be getting CIC ITA now - but it's still so hard!!! I am the first to tell everyone to keep patience but lol it is too hard for myself! I'm just keeping myself busy researching NB so as to be as prepared as possible. We are also hoping to land between April and June next year, if everything goes well. Definitely don't want to land during Winter

@lucifere hopefully the window will open in the coming week, especially considering they've only got a few more info sessions to go for the year

I got passed MEP after 20 days and next day i got biometric request, then done biometric 16th Sep, updated immediately. But after that no change since biometric updated. Then all on a sudden after 11 days later got another update that they have started to proceed with my application. Even though i have checked my profile several time a day
I can surely tell you guys: This is a test of patience, i never worried so much for anything that i am sure. NBPNP nomination worries are nothing is comparable to CIC
Please hold your breath until you get MEP and any update. Inshallah, You guys will get updated very soon

Eligibility will remain the same until they have made the final decision.
I never saw anyone who has seen they have passed eligibility, but after they made a decision then it will be changed to final decision has been made.

From our research so far, seems like for Moncton it is better to stay away from the center and downtown areas, because (like all cities) these are the most populated and most expensive. Most people have recommended North Moncton and West Moncton as good neighbourhoods (with shops, schools, parks, restaurants, etc. all nearby), especially if you prefer suburbia and/or have a young family. 2 of the areas regularly mentioned are Dieppe and Riverview - although they do have some issues with traffic congestion.

No they did not
Before the window opened temporarily, the message remained the same ("We are only accepting..." etc.) until it changed to "We are temporarily accepting..."
So I don't know if this is a good sign or bad.... I have a feeling they have changed it because they have reached their quota for the year
