Has any Aug 2-8 folks tried to call CIC and talked to an agent? I tried many times and the line was always so busy. We should keep calling them and find out why there's no DM for us and ask them if it's possible to get PPR without DM.

Hi just try to call exactly at 8 am & try for 3 -4 times back to back it works for me all the time.

Yup, it happened before due to slow update. Someone got the PR card and ecas still showed nothing new.

They are planing to issue PPRs to most of the applicants, who have received DMs, before the second weekend of Feb2019. Don't get impatient till then.
I can not tell how or who gave this info to me. All I can i do is ask you folk to hang on tight because our waiting is about to finish.

@karansukh2 When you say "before the second weekend of Feb2019" you mean we may get PPR at any point between today and the second weekend of Feb (so we have to be checking like crazy our emails all these days) or you mean right before the second weekend of Feb (we just forget about checking email until February) ? Sorry for the pedantic question but you intrigued me!!

They usually release ppr and dm in batches and between batches they stay completely silent. First two weeks of January was last time when they worked and issued dm, so it's a high chance that now they will stay silent for a month again.

Silent for August applicants, saw couple early September applicants received dm and late September starting to get ghost updates.
