Hi guys, OINP Master Stream (inland), DM this morning.

Timeline:
August 18, 2017 received;
June 26,2018 MR;
November 25, 2019 Ghost update;(I have black lines between each pair of bullets on ecas, not sure this is typical ghost update or not)
January 8, 2019 DM.

Unfortunately, my work permit is expired. I already worked as implied status, but after officer refused my application, I cannot work now because my original work permit expired. Now sure what is going to be happen after.
But my manager told me it is not firing me, and I am still part of their company, so he will tell officer I am still in the company but just cannot work because officer refused my application for now.

Please apply extended close work permit as soon as possible. You won't get open work permit again. It will be close work permit with the same employer you filed the PR application with. If you are going to wait till you get PR without working for employer. There were cases in the past where application got rejected after implied status expires. Don't seat back, apply close extended work permit with same employer as soon as possible.

Thank you yes that's what the told me that I was approved yesterday but yesterday I was no seeing dm but in presses it changed to dm today...

Thank you for your reply. I applied again with closed work permit after I got refused. But the officer ask me to apply as "Restoration" within 90 days and must stop working because I am no more implied status (original work permit is expired). I am not sure this affects my PR application...

Implied status means when ur original work permit expires and you have already requested extended work permit and waiting for the approval. You wont be able to work now as ur first application for open work permit was rejected but it wont affect your PR application as you have already submitted your application for close work permit. So don't worry just wait till your close work permit comes. Once u get that close work permit please send that to your HR as soon as possible and also inform IRCC by filling out IRCC web form. It will take upto 60-65 days, im not sure that time line went up or not but please check timeline or waiting time online to get approval.
