After two and a half years my war is finally over. Landed yesterday as a permanent resident. I'm one of the oldest applications in this thread and I want to thank all of you for your support during this time. I came to this forum everyday for support and it made my burden easier to know others we're going trough the same thing. Together we all will finish this!

If anyone has questions, ill be happy to answer.

Regards

Great News !!! the wait is over now..Congratulations !!

There is something i am not clear on, just seeing so many november and december 2012 applicants getting PPR, i am wondering, isn't it the same cio office in nova scotia we all submitted our applications to in april 2012? I mean i am happy for them, but how come the earlier applications are not being reviewed but the later ones are. ARE THEY MORE OFFICERS PROCESSING THE NEWER ONES OR WHAT??

That is the fact that none of april/may 2012 applicants are able to digest, and none of CIC officers care for it, frustrating >:( >:( >:( >:(

even guys from Jan/feb 2013 are getting theirs.

crazy >:( >:(

Anyone received any communication from CIC on processing times. They should have completed Mar - May 2012 by August 31 2013. Any news on that?

Cheers

nothing yet :'(

Of course you can't leave the province until you gain the Permanent resident status at the Port of Entry. If you tell the officer at the POE that you do not intend to live in that province, obviously he/she will not grant you PR status. This is totally different than moving out of province once you officially land as a PR.

A PPR request for atakan just got sent today, he is an april aplicant....HOPE!
