When I ask them I get a generic reply?

@ Holygun, I always ask them assertively. Like in my last email I asked that I needed to know an update on my file. I told them that I would like to know so that I could plan my immigration from USA. Like start looking for a job etc.

Dont agree..They shouldn't respond to your query but provide you a update that's how i understand...

so are you saying my request for RPRF since april 30th 2013 counts as an update for review by august 31st??? hehehehe

i thought that April applicants are going to get ppr next month...like march applicants got.

there isn't any hard and fast rule that its turn for April or May 2012 applicants. I am telling this as most of my friends were in Nov-Dec 2012 applications and have already received everything, including PR card, that too 2 months ago.

I knew it was March to May 2012 should get reply between June and August 2013. If August is for March 2012 applicants then when will be for April and May ....

I think it depends from officer to officer and case to case. Totally unpredictable. The math rule doesn't apply here.

Also, inconsistencies in asking for PPR, some february 2012 then december 2012, matter of fact i saw a january 2013 applicant jumping for joy at the request for PPR. It's absurd and frustrating to say the least....
Still aplication received on ECAS....PHEW!!

True..Surprises me that 2013 folks are getting PPR within 6-8 months. It isn't our mistake that we had to be a part of there restructure.
