Hi Everyone,
I am new to the site, my family and I have applied for our Pr through AINP, this is our timeline:

We received your application for permanent residence on March 21, 2012.

We started processing your application on April 22, 2013.

Medical results have been received.

A decision has been made on your application. The office will contact you concerning this decision.

We paid our rprf on April 3rd emailing receipt of payment along with personal history letters for the time from date of submission of our application to date of payment request.

Does anyone know how long before our passports are requested please?
Thanks so much!
While I fully understand your anxiety, I'm afraid nobody here will be able to give you a definitive time line. If somebody is telling you something, then at best he's trying to assuage your anxiety. At worse, he is out rightly lying to you! I wish you good luck.

Come on guys - It's Tuesday today!...say something...make some noise.... we April applicants are the laziest of the lot...

What should we do guys? Any suggestions?
@ Holygun, do your GCMS notes say anywhere in the Notes section that 'File is ready for officer review'? If yes, then when was that note made?

Can you check now? I am curious as I have a theory about this!

@ Holygun: Check under 'NOTES' section towards the end of the GCMS note. You will see all the assessment remarks made by the Officer. In the GCMS notes I applied for in May before I got PPR, it says 'File ready for assessment'. From my perspective, I think 'File ready for review' means it is going for the final review & PR decision making. 'File ready for assessment' means the officer still needs to check you for one thing or the other.
Hope this helps! I'm waiting for your good news...

@ Edmontonbound: I'm waiting for your good news.

Meanwhile, once I receive my latest GCMS notes, I will be able to see clearly how the decisions are made to issue PPR...I applied for the notes after becoming a PR.

I hope you are right. My GCMS notes say 'File documentations complete, RCMP, FBI - No reportable trace, RPRF complete - File Ready for review by officer'

File ready for assessment note was made on May 13, 2013.

But the problem is it was dated May 31, 2013. It can NOT take that long. Oh well...

I don't have file ready for review. But last time, when I ordered my notes. Under eligibilty, it was saying review required. Now it is changed to passed.

They should have fired those arrogant bustards long time ago. Don't like how much you get paid- take a hike then.

Eligibility is separate. I am talking about your FILE as a whole. A note concerning your file should say something like a review by office required....

Because on the 22 of august pafso is going to be heard by the labour board. The president of pafso posted on twitter that is should take 2 days max to resolve their case. Even if they loose they will be obligated to go to work, since there nothing else they can do. So either way, the strike will be over this week)))))))

Well union is a good thing and they are doing something good... I have been working in a private company for the last three year as a professional and have no union to cover my ass. Companies are funking you very well.

That's one of the reason why I moved to Canada.
