Last week, it was 71 calendar days. 2 weeks ago, it was 69 days. I think the Train crash in Quebec & Flooding in Alberta caused the slow down. Many people are applying for their documents again.
This week, it's back on 69 days. I just wish it was like 3 months ago when it took only 39 days to get the PR card.
Anyways, it is well...
Did you receive your passport back now? When are you landing? I guess you are in Ontario...

My tracker is activated and I should receive it today, I am so excited. But I am praying for my fellows who are still waiting to get theirs soon

@Edmontonbound: What's up now? Any news?

@AMZA: Even though it seems they've ignored your emails, I know that all things will work together for your good. It is well.

@ coshx....the processing time (new) is 16 months. For me it will be exactly 16 months on Aug, 11. So like you guys have always said...I'm keeping the faith, I'm believing and I'm praying and doing all kinds of stuffs ;). I am sure I will get by Aug 11. Aug 10, being a Saturday is more promising. So for sure, I will get it this Saturday. And, you all know how much I deserve it! ;D

You deserve it my brother. Just keep praying. There's no mountain the Lord cannot bring down. Remember Zech 4:6-7...Who is that mountain before Zerubbabel...It will become a plain.
cheers!

I finally got my PP back with visa stamp, Coshx did you cross the border yet? Which documents they need?

I have good news.... I am a March 2012 applicant. I contacted my MP again today in frustration to ask if she could find out the status of my application. She said our PR has been approved since July 31st and documents will be sent out in a few weeks. Our ecas does not state decision made yet. Also because we are from Ireland (which is a visa exempt country) we do not have to send our passports. I know i don't have documents in hand yet but it is good news thank god!! My advice to all March applicants is to contact your local MP and he/she will follow up on your application on your behalf!

Yes Pari. I landed at Calgary Airport in June. Take your work permit with you, your COPR & passport with visa. You can take confirmation of employment with you & a copy of your utility bills just to show you have ties with the province. The officer will only ask you for your passport+visa and COPR.
Goodluck Sister. Rejoice in the Lord and the power of his might.
