Very strange to see no march-april 2012 applicants are getting any sort of updates even after 3 months of application in process. Whats going on there. We all have crossed the 16 months processing time too now. How pathetic can they get.

I think I will get some news after your guys do since we have the similar situation and your in-process times (May 1 and May 10) are a little bit earlier than me.

I was happy waiting, then disappointment, then angry, now desperate and sad.
I feel so sad and I really wanna cry.
Every single time I saw someone who timeline similar with mine got the ppr, I feel happy and have the hope, but every single time I got nothing.
Every Monday I think I can see some magic email, but nothing; then Tue,Wed, until Thursday I still think I can see the magic email on Friday night, but still nothing.
Now I dont even think that magic email will come, It seems like a dream, seems like never gonna happened.

We are in the same situation
My changed in to process from April 5
But nothing happened
I check through my mp
He said everything processing normally
They are waiting for background check to finish
I think same with you background check everything else is done
I also check my e mail 10 or 20 times a day with full hope no use till now
Any way we passed the big 17 month hope fully within other couple of week we hear something

this what my mp's says
. It did arrive in Ottawa at the same time as all the other files from the Buffalo office which perhaps could have been what caused the delay. According to our contact, everything is processing as normal. She encouraged me to tell you not to compare your file to others, as once the background checks are sent out, they are processed & returned on a case by case basis. Why your friends have all received them so quickly is likely because their background requests were processed faster

I completed 16 months yesterday. I contacted CPP-O and they told me that my criminality check was still in process. I have no idea why this is taking so long for all pre June 2012 applicants. So annoying.
