Only a two weeks vacation outside of Canada...

what was the status of you application when you received that email for medical test?

:( :( :( I applied in Feb 2012 and got medical done in March 2012. A week ago they sent me a email with a medical exam form without any detailed instructions. Unlike the first med exam email, this one has no deadlines or photo requirements, what should I do?

I am furious because I was told in my RPFF request email that "No further action was required on my medical exam" two weeks before I got that 2nd med request. I sent Ottawa email, but I would say my email was ignored. No reply for a week....

Any suggestions? :( :( :( :( :( :(

Hey Bububird,

About the same thing happened to me. Email CPP-Ottawa and verify. Mention that in your last correspondence with them they stated the the validity of your medicals will be extended. In my case I was told to disregard the previous email.

I got an email 2 hours ago... Saying that they have received everthing, meaning all they need - or what they need :) for now.

Any further document needed they will email me :)

At least now they respond back to emails.

Am not sure about my medicals they will expire on May 8th, will see...

@Holygun, If I am not wrong, you got married and added spouse as a dependent..right? Could you please ans these questions for me.

1) I Added spouse, sent controlled docs for her in 2nd week of April. How much time it took for them to respond you back on the application package?
2) Did you re-do medicals after change of circumstances?
3) Dd you pay RPRF for spouse right away?

Thanks

2- No need to re-do your medicals.
3- Yes. when they asked for my RPRF I paid for my partner too.

I dont think leaving country for two weeks makes your medical void, people go on holidays its not an issue. Probably its a mistake on thier end.

Also, if during last year you stayed in Canada as a temporary resident you should be fine. Just send them an email explaining it.

I guess that is the point. I heard that they are extending the medical for those who have not left the country at all.
But, if I were you, I would ask them before doing the medical again.

It is not true. It depends on which country did you travel.
My friend went to Mexico and he has been asked to re-do the medical.
Also, age is important.
