I think NOW.. the process is fast after the status change to IN Process.. but in my case have been almost 1 year... my file is In Process since May 2012..Who really knows what is going on inside CPP... So, don't worry you are going to receive something very soon.. :(

Th0is is terrible, you haven't heard anything from them after may 2012? did you apply for GCMS notes?

They requested RPRF last week with my police certificates from my home country (sent before required) and personal history.. 2 GCMS notes.. last time somebody checked my file was january 2013 until now. My new due date july 17. I hope hear from them before that .. I replied to them with the fee and ask them if I have to send again the police certificates.. In the midtime I am asking for the again... so Who kmows!!!

I got email last night to do Medicals last night since it's been over 12 months. I'm officially very frustrated.

Have you left Canada after your medical?

I did for 2 weeks

Guys

- I'm a March 05, 2012 applicant.
- I got my RPRF and update on personal information on April 04, 2013.
- MY ECAS status changed to In process on April 19,2013.

The problem is, I did my medical on May 10,2012 and it will expire soon...

What should tell CIC in my email to extend my medical and avoiding from redoing it?

@ dee001, Have you ever left Canada after you have undergone your medical examination? I'm sorry to ask so many questions. However, I want to find a reason to speculate on your re-doing of medical test. I know a few whose medicals were expired for more than a year didn't go through it. So I'm wondering why you were asked by the ever reliable CIC.

I haven't left Canada since I submitted my application or undergone medicals. I was thinking the validity of my medicals will be extended too.

Here is the email with Medical Instructions attached. Maybe a mistake? LOL

Hey Chanselay. How have you been? No news dude. It's been the same story since we have done our medical tests. And, it doesn't look too good as well. The last thing we want is to re-do our medical again. It will delay the process at least another 3 months.
I'm good bro. They have not requested you to take medical yet right? By the way how much is the RPRF
for principal, spouse and kids? I forgot already.

According to the new medical test instruction manual, the medical is valid for 15 months. It may well be a mistake by your Visa officer to ask you to re-do your medical test. Would it be better to ask your VO and get a clarification on it?
