I think they are going to change the processing time, Remember this is how long it took to process 80 percent of all cases between October 1, 2011 and September 30, 2012.. It will change in February.. At the begining Ottawa was very fast, after Buffalo close everything slow down.... I am in the bad luck batch.. My time is already 1 year.. :( :( :( Hopefully for new applicants they are going to sped the process but after summer when the "Vast majority will be finalised and visas will be issued by summer, 2013" .quote author=MasterGeek link=topic=92359.msg2029279#msg2029279 date=1359141353]
Remember: The processing times of 11 months for PNP and 9 months for QSW are for previous applications that have ALREADY BEEN FINALIZED. That doesn't mean current or future applications will have the same processing times. I exepect that the next processing times update published by CIC will show a increase in delays.

Hey guys

I'm confused, help me out please!

I got nominated by PNP Ontario in Feb 2012. and based on what they said:
ontarioimmigration.ca/en/pnp/OI_PNPNOMINEES.html
I sent my application to Sydney, Nova Scotia.
My application has been received by CIC on March 05, 2012.
I chose Buffalo as my visa office in my application but never received any email from buffalo and I guess they sent it to Ottawa directly instead of buffalo as CPP-O contacted me for medical.
CPP-O received my medical on May 15, 2012 and 11 months will be over in 10 day and I still heard nothing from them... .

So Which timeframe should I stick to? The new timeframe for Buffalo or the regular 11 months timeframe?

Same boat.

Buffalo Cases Transferred to CPP-O
We have to get before 11 months.

I wish same but we all know reality....Anyhow gud luck buddy as this 11 month thing didn't work for us...

No, I received an email mentioned the processing time is based on the AOR date and not the submission date.

In my AOR its mentioned that I will be getting my PPR in 120 days, date I got AOR (25-4)

I believe 11 months start the day they received the app. my case its 27th Feb 2012 (App received)

Hi guys, I arrived yest eve from India. how is everyone doing? I really pray we hear good news soon.

Freakin I hate it how they change statements, CIC website says something else abt processing times. Check the link below>>>>>

How are processing times calculated?

Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) calculates processing times from the day CIC receives an application to the day it makes a decision on the application.

When estimating how long you will wait to receive a temporary visa, you must also take into account up to 10 days of transit or delivery time on top of CIC’s processing time. The time your application will spend travelling to and from CIC will vary depending on where you live.

If you live in Canada the processing time should be less right?
