I got mail from Ontario PNP program that have been selected and was told to submit my documents to CIO office at Sydney, Nova Scotia on October 2012. I finally mailed my documents to CIO and the courier service confirmed me that the documents have reached to CIO on 16th January 2013.

Meanwhile, I got another mail from Ontario that I can apply for temporary open work visa for two years while my PR is being finalized. I have already applied for the same and VFS office told me that it will take 20 days to get back my passport.

Now, my questions are :
1) Will CIO office confirm me that they have received my documents?
2) Do I need to come back to my home VO office for medical and interview if I travel to Canada with temporary work permit ?

So my application won't be finalized until after May 2013 ? Cool! I won't have to check my eCas every day

It's basically for the applicants who have submitted files to Buffalo...I m confused what abt the applicants who have applied in CPP-Ottawa that timeline doesn't apply to them, I guess we are under 11 months processing time..

My file, jan 20 2012, Was submitted to Sydney, NS, then they transferrede to Cpp according to my AOR. So this table apply too? I'm confused.

no,we all fall under this category even if u have applied to ottawa directly.because after jan1 all files went to ottawa not to buffalo.Buffalo was closed by end of dec.

so hopefully our PPRs are cuming in this summer as they mentioned.

I really want they start sending PRs, because is already january 25th, and we don't see to many PRs, not for 2010, not for 2011, not for 2012.. I hope they don't change later and add more months ... I have been following the forum and also the trackitt and Ottawa is not moving.. I think they are making changes and everything is stop.. Any thoughts!!!!

We are not under this category"
Buffalo Cases Transferred to CPP-O
We have to get before 11 months.

Well, I selected my VO as Buffalo, but file got transferred to CPP_O as it was a "pilot project", i was one of the first few whose file automatically got transferred to CPP-O.

Not sure what category I would fall in?

I dont care what category i fall in actually, its 11 months today and I haven't got my PPR, its NO Good.

It should be 11 months from the date of your AOR not the date of submission. And, of course this is the average time not the absolute one. So, we may get it around that time.

I just called the CIC call centre.. And, they couldn't tell me if we are included in the new time line.. The guy told me that i I need to contact Ottawa to have an answer,... And we know the answer from Ottawa will be an standard email... I really piss off with the new time line.. for my GCMS notes my medicals are going to expire next month... >:(

Remember: The processing times of 11 months for PNP and 9 months for QSW are for previous applications that have ALREADY BEEN FINALIZED. That doesn't mean current or future applications will have the same processing times. I exepect that the next processing times update published by CIC will show a increase in delays.

Hey guys

I'm confused, help me out please!

I got nominated by PNP Ontario in Feb 2012. and based on what they said:
ontarioimmigration.ca/en/pnp/OI_PNPNOMINEES.html
I sent my application to Sydney, Nova Scotia.
My application has been received by CIC on March 05, 2012.
I chose Buffalo as my visa office in my application but never received any email from buffalo and I guess they sent it to Ottawa directly instead of buffalo as CPP-O contacted me for medical.
CPP-O received my medical on May 15, 2012 and 11 months will be over in 10 day and I still heard nothing from them... .

So Which timeframe should I stick to? The new timeframe for Buffalo or the regular 11 months timeframe?

.

In my AOR its mentioned that I will be getting my PPR in 120 days, date I got AOR (25-4)

I believe 11 months start the day they received the app. my case its 27th Feb 2012 (App received)
