I have never seen this kinda timeline, if they can send in email why can't they post it online. Moreover why only 1 applicant received this kinda reply. I m confused :o :o
I agree w/ duiusa! It's particularly amazing that CPP-O giving deadlines! Incredible if one goes by their blunt replies when asked about a status update. Is something cooking here? Oh well.

I don't believe in this email at all...

if they had something like that, why didn't they do it till now...

Dear Sir/Madam,

Thank you for your message concerning your application for permanent residence.

Your file has been transferred to this office in Ottawa for processing. It will be reviewed by one of our officers, with priority given to applications that were received at CIC before 1 September 2011.

You must notify Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) of any changes to your application. Examples of changes include:

• Changes in your personal circumstances, such as birth or adoption of a child, death of a family member, a marriage or a divorce;

• Appointment or change of immigration representative or designated individual;
• Decision to withdraw your application.

You have the option to withdraw your application at any point in the process. You will be refunded the RPRF if you have already paid it.

I wish everyone get their PPR's sooner than later and proves this timeline wrong!!!I know this freaking wait...i m dying of this...but what else one can do...

I am still not getting the point that why they released all the PPR's who applied in Aug and hold all Jan,Feb,March applicants..

Hi;

I have a question:
why it is mentioned "It will be reviewed by one of our officers, with priority given to applications that were received at CIC before 1 September 2011." while you are Feb applicant and not before September.

I think this is for the Buffalo applicants. For those who applied directly to Nova Scotia and then the process started in CPP-O the time frame should be the same as the one posted on CIC website which is about 11 months. Otherwise, they would definitely modify that processing time.

Cheers;
Fafool

this wait is killing me too......they holding Apr and may applicants tooo.....

So if this is the wait parameters can someone explain to me why July 2012 applicants are getting their ppr now? A.k.a only 5 months after application!? While people like me are hitting the 12 month mark?

which adds to our frustrations :-[

I think that Jan-Feb 2012 applicants will be before the timeline that they propose... Cause almast 60% of this batch already finalized...

Maybe they are holding off the remaining 40% until ALL 2011 applications are processed.

It is really sad news.. not expecting anything in the next 5 moths.. too much...
For sure in feb they are going to change the processing time.. :( :( :(

They definitely will ask for extension on their "Review time lines".
I wish an immigrant work in CPP-O, who can explain how frustrating / abusive is too work on a TRV in Canada. and it is super frustrating to wait for PPR after submitting medicals..
