Hi Fafool and Yanesrahn,
I would advise you to apply for GCMS notes. It costs only 5$ and gives you information on where your application is within 'in process'
I didn't want to apply for the GCMS notes for a long time thinking that I would get my PPR very soon. However, when I got my GCMS notes I realized that Ottawa hadn't received a document that I sent three months earlier and that was the reason why they kept my file on hold all that while. I kept thinking that my background check was in progress as the MP's office had told me. But that wasn't the case. Also, GCMS notes take 3 to 4 weeks to process. So might as well apply as soon as possible.
Thanks
