Those guys are so lazy to update the status in online system. if they do correctly they can avoid lot of calls and mails that applicants sent to them.

Hello everyone! Is good to see at least some movement from Ottawa, in the last couple of weeks. Congratulations to all that have received their PPR in the last days. With the end of the year approaching it gives us a little hope that they will start working to fulfill the quotas. Just food for thought. I noticed that most PPR's in the last weeks have been from Alberta and Quebec, just wandering if anyone from BC got it too. I feel that they are working with specific provinces first. Asides from HopeSprings, who's also from BC. Anyone else got lucky lately?

Regards

Hi Fafool and Yanesrahn,
I would advise you to apply for GCMS notes. It costs only 5$ and gives you information on where your application is within 'in process'
I didn’t want to apply for the GCMS notes for a long time thinking that I would get my PPR very soon. However, when I got my GCMS notes I realized that Ottawa hadn’t received a document that I sent three months earlier and that was the reason why they kept my file on hold all that while. I kept thinking that my background check was in progress as the MP’s office had told me. But that wasn’t the case. Also, GCMS notes take 3 to 4 weeks to process. So might as well apply as soon as possible.
Thanks
