there is no as such concern...m jst wondering...when we will b declaired offcialy canadian......ealrier we were waiting for visa at first place....but seems like process is still on ..until we land..final stage is yet to arrive....

you made a good point. landing will be the last thing to be done. be prepared for everything. it should be an enjoyable, smooth, and natural process. i will land later this month near buffalo.

by the numbers and information that is on this thread...just concluded Dec,Jan and some Feb applicants are on hold!!!

i cant beleive that our applications are on hold....if they are can you give me one reason for that?
plus i have seen people from dec, jan, feb got their PPR already

though i dont want to agree...i might be forced to agree with that point romeosaab made...not many from Dec-Feb got PPR...one reason might be they would have reached the number for this year (PR) and they wanted to give chance to 2011 applicants...they might bypass early 2012 applicants and who knows early next year is our turn...btw i am 2012 jan...its been 8.5 months since my medicals...also seen gcms 2 times...i dont see anything happening in that...

also another point...somehow my gut feeling applicants who are already in canada in a job get lower priority...anyway we are already helping their economy...by being PR we might get more benefits..but canada dont anything if you are already working on a WP... thats my personal opinion though...

what does the gcms say last time..... i think you are quebec skilled worker and when it comes to quebec.....every thing is different .... i was told this by a friend whose a lawyer long time ago .. it other words it is expected to quebec people to take longer than normal just because it is quebec :S

agreed... logically...Quebec should be the easiest for CIC...because they dont do eligiblity...validation etc...security and medicals...all our employment, education all verified at provincial level...and now with PQ ruling our delay is justified

my GCMS is waste of paper for them seriously... last notes in March end stated medicals passed...notes in August end stated same thing...extra information "REquest for GCMS in March" and criminality,security,background nothing started..

though the process might be different for quebec...overall CIC goes by count.. if they see they are nearing the count for this year in issuing PR they might prefer the pending 2011 applicants...and start again in early 2013...interestingly.. Quebec had more number of immigrants than other PNP in 2010-2011 as per CIC website... now i doubt that statistics
