I received my AOR and MR on 25th April 2012, its been 150 days today.

I enquired with CPP-O through E-mail, heres the reply;I sent the E-mail last week on Wednesday, got the reply today

Dear Madam / Sir,

This is in response to your email (see below).

Your application is in process. No further action is required by you at this time.

We thank you for your patience and for keeping your correspondence to a minimum.

The standard processing time for your immigration category is 15 months."


Dont know whats taking so long....?? :( :( :( :( :'( :'( :'(
 
hey guys...finaly decesion has been made...i am so happyyyyyyyyy....finaly m gona live with my family.....very thankfull to waheguru and sarkar baba muradshah ji....may they shower blessing on every applicant around here....thnkful to this forum and manu for imparting so much needed and helpful information....will update u as soon as i received my PP...

thnx manubobby...m looking forward to hear gud news from ur side as well.....i will surey keep in tuch with this forum....i havnt decided yet...my father already have visa...but hes here with me...so its kind of moving stuff for us...i wanted to b there before christmas...lets c....

Are you QSW applicant?...and are you Inland or Outland?
 
Guys, heads up...

whoever updated or changed their address, double check with GCMS notes. I update my address 4 months back.
I update my address using on-line and even called up CIC to update the same...but nothing worked.
and on e-case it shows the new address but GCMS notes shows the old address...

I sent a mail to Ottawa and they confirmed that they have the old address and requested me to send the new address....

this is how immigration system is working right now...

hmmm I think you have to send them the fax or email.....online never works.....I think its written in the AOR as well to inform the Visa office in writing of change in address....

things are strange with CIC now...budget cut is showing on them.....I think they are overloaded.

Yes initially I did sent them by email and they send me the procedure how to it. they told me to do either online or call CIC....
things are really strange with CIC. and it is affecting our applications...

I was in impression that once I sent my application I do not have to do any thing till they contact us..and the process should be straight forward ....but this is totally wrong.
you have to keep track of your application progress....

I dont know .... its very frustrating almost 9 months since i submitted my application and almost 6.5 months since my medical ..... and when you send them an email, they reply with 15 months processing time....hopefully thats incorrect and its just agent template (just to ask you not to bother us with emails) ..... i really need to be immigrant before mid of decemeber so i dont pay the university as international student...it is $6000 difference per semester ... waiting waiting AND waiting :'(

Congrats bajji Kang, happy for ur success :D we have just 1 day of difference.. i got decision made on this Monday n urs was on tuesday, if m right. I guess u live in punjab. Do post when u get hold of ur passports. M also so keen to touch that magic V asap.

i am also planning to fly as soon as i can after getting passports. Keep in touch buddy :)

I do not know why it is taking so much time!
On August 4th GMCS notes, my application was showing Criminality is OK. but Security and eligibility was outstanding....

I don't know why it is so much time consuming!
 
Thanks Tidebreaker for the link but only thing I am doubtful is $490 or the indian currency they are showing on website india.gc.ca. For the current conversion rate it should be more in indian rupees or should I go to bank and ask for $490 draft or indian rupees on the website?
