I do not know why it is taking so much time!
On August 4th GMCS notes, my application was showing Criminality is OK. but Security and eligibility was outstanding....

I don't know why it is so much time consuming!

patience is the key here ... atleast yours criminality is ok...in my case nothing started yet...and the same for 2011 applicants... we all hope things go faster by end of the year..

I dont know .... its very frustrating almost 9 months since i submitted my application and almost 6.5 months since my medical ..... and when you send them an email, they reply with 15 months processing time....hopefully thats incorrect and its just agent template (just to ask you not to bother us with emails) ..... i really need to be immigrant before mid of decemeber so i dont pay the university as international student...it is $6000 difference per semester ... waiting waiting AND waiting :'(

We'r on the same boat, man. At least you seem closer to ppr than me judging from your timeline

hi dude, be patient. There are 7-8 persons having done medicals between April 20- May 10. None of them got any PPR, EVEN NOT IN PROCESS. We are in the same boat.

Ok help me on this please

I am going India in Dec, lets say i got my passport request while i am in India, so

1> can i send my passport to NEW DELHI office (my file is being submitted to ottawa) ?
2> do i have to send photocopies of passport to the center or original passport for stamping (if that is the case i send the photocopy from INDIA to ottawa), is it possible ??

3> How many days will i get to submit my passport to the center, so that i can get time to come back to Canada , and send them by mail???

No you have to send the passport to visa office mentioned.. The issue with sending to New Delhi is they process t differently...you can apply for visitor visa to New Delhi if your current TRV is expired or goign to exipire... and then travel to canada and then send in post to get your PR visa stamped.. They dont accept photocopy of passport..and sending passport in mail from india is not allowed(your passport will be send to passport authority)

Best bet is if you foresee your PR visa call then postpone travel to india...

Generally they give between 30-60days from PPR to visa stamping...min 30days

Congrats bajji Kang, happy for ur success we have just 1 day of difference.. i got decision made on this Monday n urs was on tuesday, if m right. I guess u live in punjab. Do post when u get hold of ur passports. M also so keen to touch that magic V asap.

i am also planning to fly as soon as i can after getting passports. Keep in touch buddy
