You don't need to submit IELTS because your job categorizes as "Skilled". Only Semi and Low skilled professions need IELTS for provincial nominee program.

Any PPRs today - Ottawa applicants?

can you share your timeline including the in process update

Here You go..

My application was received on Jan 24th, 2012 at NS office. I am from Quebec skilled categoty

Medicals were requested in the middle of March and in my AOR it was mentioned that my case was being sent to RPC Buffalo at that time (that's why I say that I am a transferred case).

I did my medicals on March 19th and sent them to Ottawa. Medicals were received on April 20th (as per e-CAS)

And!! my E-CAS states that they started to work on my case from September, 7th..

Let's see how things move further..

It usually takes 3-4 months from 'in process' status. Having said that I am getting really impatient myself.

I hear you....its really a frustrating wait....there is just so much uncertainty over such an important matter....you wanna check your email every now and then but at the back of your mind you know it may not come that soon....you basically just dont know when its going to come (PPR)...

it's tough....

@ Syed... I have read and understood your situation well. In my opinion, you SOMEHOW missed that AOR/MR email. Whether or not it was sent by CIC is irrelevant now. The GCMS notes affirms that it was sent. You must be pro-active now. You must keep asking CIC until they reply to you. But if you do nothing, then I'm afraid it will not solve anything.
Also, I'm a bit amused that you hadn't taken any steps for such a long time.
Contact/Call your MP if in Canada. Else, send emails and a registered mail to CIC for an inquiry.
Good luck.

@QBCool @jonmonc @USK we are in the same case ... hopefully we get the email in a week or 2 ...

Hi Syed,

I received the request for the Medicals through e-mail with the AOR but I am not sure if Buffalo applicants got the medical request thru the e-mail as well..

Probably they sent the request through post but it was lost somewhere. Send e-mail to Ottawa. i know it's not easy to have a response from Ottawa as most of the time they send a generic response but keep on trying. Also try to reach the MP from your area, see if he can help you to go through this one.

Goodluck

Well, I guess it depends upon case to case.. I have seen a guy getting PPR within a month as his status went to 'in process'. I personally know a class fellow, she got this status update in March, 2012 and she 's still waiting. Also, a guy recently got the PPR when his status was still 'Application received'.. :)

Patience is the key, anyway!
