Manubobby,

I got PPR on 30th August.
Please update tracksheet.
I am one of the candidate whose file was sent to CIO-Sydnes, NS and then transferred to Ottawa.
I think I am the scond one in this group after Karlz.
Thanks for all your advise and input.
Good luck to all the other candidate.

congrats ....

I do admit that I was a bit harsh with the way I started off writing. But did you read all my post? Yes, I do not have a right to complain about people showing their emotion. It does bring me down and frustrating whenever I read it, but I do not have a right to stop them and that's not the part that I'm concerned. It DOES AFFECT when people keep calling on CIC every day, week, and month. What I was really trying to say was that however you contact them, it's not going to get your files processed any faster. So why bother doing that if it's actually going to affect everybody else's cases by delaying it? And making a complain to the media seems even worse. It's not like they did anything particularly wrong, and it looked like you guys were all so ready to create a big mess for nothing. I don't think I was speaking nonsense so I don't see why I should keep myself quiet. Just like somebody mentioned people all have different opinions and I do feel that I have a right to give mine. I do apologize however, for calling salomgini "foolish." I had the most respect to you manubboby, as you seemed to be the most logical one here, and my thought about you changed a bit. As well as that, I'm actually not very frustrated because of this waiting since I was estimating a longer wait than this. I'm very grateful and thankful at how fast the processing time is at the moment. I do feel that the 2008 applicants do have a right to file in a sue, but not us. All we can do is wait patiently, and try to be positive. I'm not going to force you guys to think the same way as I do, and I do not have any rights to do that, but please. Do not call the CIC unless there is something really unusual going on or your waiting time is much longer than most of the other applicants.

first of all .. i started this thread so that we can help each other coz all of us here are heading towards the same goal .. and there would be several situations where everyone would get frustrated at some point of time .. there is nothing wrong with anyone expressing their feelings here as long as it doesnt affect anyone elses.. Mr/Ms Pokar.. till date .. if someone ever had a nervous breakdown .. all we did was support them .. if you feel its bothering you in any way .. please dont share anything in here at all .. everyone is different in there own ways has the right express what they want .. if it bothers you so much on how ppl express their emotions .. maybe you should stay away rather than butt in unnecessarily .. .. demeaning someone in here is not encouraged .. so please get a hold of yourself .. seems like ur d one who is way more frustrated than anyone else here .. coz ur taking it out on someone else rather than CIC .. we know how CIC aint doing injustice to us .. but please dont add stuff in here that would frustrate ppl more than we already are .. so.. please .. if you dont have something nice to say in here .. dont say anything at all arite .. cheers

Hi all,

There has been some negative vibes going on which made me feel bad. Guys we are all here to support each other, not to offend others & try to make them feel bad. expressing views are not bad but using offensive words... actually is. So plz watch your language.

CIC is doing its work but it is sometimes very random in taking decisions on a application. i was readin this other thread & i saw a very strange post by some 1. Hv a look guys... if this post is true this applicant got decision made on his file in 2 days, which is a miracle. however i doubt whether its genuine or not. hv a look....

Hi friends,

Is it miracle ?

My cousin's case :

Status "Application Received" till 28 August 2012

Status "Decision Made" on 31 August 2012

Description of Status "We started processing your application on 29 August 2012 "

They started processing application on 29-Aug-12 and took decision on 31-Aug-12.

How strange !

aonedoc, congrats and God bless.thanks for sharing the good news!

To all folks still waiting for the PRV, just keep the faith, think positive and leave it up to God.
Don't entertain any negative vibes, relax and keep smiling ;D ;D Worrying won't make any help on your application ;)

@Mannubobby, Mysteryocean

I see an additional line in ECAS as - "Medical results have been received."

Congratulations to him - indeed one of the exceptions!

as I mentioned in one of my posts - I do not rely entirely on ECAS. Scanning forum posts here , ECAS sometimes provides inaccurate status of the application. Advice of some of the elders was to order GCMS notes to ascertain the true status of your application - which I followed. Comparing it to the official notifications from CIC, emails to me and my replies to them, and reported status in ECAS - I find that what happens in the background is not shown in your ECAS status. Case in point, they have received my medicals in April, but they never updated my ECAS to show it.

thats exactly my case..because i got my medical 07 feb 2012 but i did it on 16 march 2012 so it is almost 6 months and so far it doesnt say in process just medical received ... and all my friends who applied around the same time (Jan 11 2012) it shows on the ecas in process or they already got the PPR and i when i sent them an email they replied and they said

Dear Sir/Madam,

Due to the high volume of correspondence received, we are unable to provide a status update to you. The officer responsible for your file will contact you if any action is required from you. Please note the standard processing times for applications for permanent residence within the category in which you have applied are available on our website at http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/times/perm-ec.asp . In the meantime, please ensure your information is kept up-to-date, particularly if there is a change in your marital status or in the event of a birth or death in your family. You must also advise this office of any change to your contact information, such as a change in your residential or e-mail address.

Regards,

it is very scary for me ???
