no dear..i dnt have traveling history...its jst have bad luck that process has not been so smoooth....prsently wht cause the delay is...i have chaged my name before applying for the passposrt as most of the ccoutries object on having only 'singh and kaur' with real name...so i have addedd surname for any inconvenience...but now cic came up with another issue of showing pcc of my old name...lolzzz...and it wasnt easy task as per the procedure pcc is issued against passport as main evidence...so i had to run from pillar to post to get my pcc with old name(without surname) now i have sent it to cic...lets c....wht futures holds for me....earlier....they sent me e mail to submit additonal documents...before medicals...i also got nomination after almost 6 months....so the its not been so easy on me..every time there is hurdel and m tired of it,,,,m just hoping, wishing, praying to go threw it with positive outcome....and i guess i will b the happiest person to get magic stcikr after all this mess....HOPEEEEEEE....pray thr same for my fellow members....and offcourse MANNU....
Yes, lets hope that we all will get this done soon. :)
Cheers!

Question for Ottawa applicants - Could someone share, how does Ottawa send the request for PPR, is it usually via email? or snail mail?

It would be great if our friends who received a PPR from Ottawa recently share their inputs! Thanks QB.

The longer you wait for something, the more you'll appreciate it when you get it. Because anything worth having is definitely worth waiting for."

Dearest forum mates, I have received my passport request (PPR) this evening. This was 15 minutes after making my daily prayer/ novena. I immediately broke down in tears when i opened the email and saw the line "We are pleased to inform you that your visa(s) for permanent residence to Canada is/are ready to be issued," For a minute or more, time froze and it was amazing.

You guys are almost there ;) Good luck to everyone and thank you for being a constant source of information and support this whole time.

Congratulations!!! :D :D Manila is moving too...Hope Ottawa and ND do the same...

CONGRATULATIONS!!!!

Was not able to answer your last question - busy with work.

But this is good news! Everything else now will be a blur - so I suggest you enjoy the moment - savor it, leave the planning for the next steps to do for a day - clear out all the tension of waiting for the past few weeks. God bless for you and your family!
