I submitted my application to CIO-NS as at the time of my application, all new applications need to be processed by CIO-NS. (I updated my timeline). I am in Canada on a WP, and requested that my application be processed in the nearest VO (Buffalo) but my file was still transferred to CEM.cvd222 said:Congratulations! This is great!
I just have a question though: did you submit your application to CEM directly? Im just wondering 'cause I thought all applications need to be submitted to CIO. Are you in Canada or in the Philippines?

So lucky it got transferred to CEM. They seem to be quicker than Ottawa! I also requested mine to be processed in CEM, but it was still processed in Ottawa...ragluf said:I submitted my application to CIO-NS as at the time of my application, all new applications need to be processed by CIO-NS. Dearest forum mates, I have received my passport request (PPR) this evening. This was 15 minutes after making my daily prayer/ novena. I immediately broke down in tears when i opened the email and saw the line "We are pleased to inform you that your visa(s) for permanent residence to Canada is/are ready to be issued," For a minute or more, time froze and it was amazing.
You guys are almost there Good luck to everyone and thank you for being a constant source of information and support this whole time.
I got this reply just day before yesterday when i asked them the same..."we are overloaded with files this time so we are unable to provide u the status of your file.IF anything needed u will be contacted by visa officer"!!!!Superhero said:Its been 120 days after I got my medical req. and I didnt heard anything about my file...I dont know How much more time It will take....I email them today to know about updates on my file...waiting for their reply
