Holygun, romeosaab: we're in the same boat, guys... we have very similar timelines...

Jonmonc and Superhero, who submitted their application on jan 19 to cpp-ottawa, had their ecas changed to IN PROCESS in mid July. If the cpp-ottawa officers are working at the same pace, I really hope our ecas changes to in process by the end of this month. then again, we never know... but let's stay positive!!!

Hello Guys,

Once your Passport reaches NDVO do they send any acknowledgement for receiving the PP?

Cheers!

Hey Mannu,

Take it easy on yourself man I know how you feeling right now. today is 100th day of my medical request and nothing from CPP-O. it is really really frustrating I know...it stresses me out too a lot..but thats the way it is...lets hope we all get PPR soon and get over with the whole process.

Cheers.
Thanks

Same here, No News... I am in Process since May and nothing.. I am really worried that somebody contacted Ottawa and change the processing time to 15 months... Very sad....

Note that most of the personel working on the file would go for summer break and vacation. I think that should explain certain delays.

Not sure, what office you talking about? If you talking about CPP-O, seems like they are already on break.

They should be coming back to work now as summer is almost over..Days are getting smaller in Canada.

Cheers

I got my GCMS report today. I requested on July 5, 2012, the GCMS report was created on Jul 11. It was sent to my representative today. Here are some highlights:
First, the medical exam received and assessed, all passed (4 family members). But medical received never shows in my ECAS, even today. This is why I am anxious to get this report. Now I am relieved and relaxed. This is the big benefit I got this report. Thank you, Ottawa.
Second, the status is “open,” nothing shows “In process,” just shows “In progress” Both criminal and security are “Not started”
Third, the due date is 2013-3-30; the medical valid for 1 years, i.e., till 2013-05-02, the date I took medical exam was May 2, 2012.
Fourth, they have not touched my file yet, except the medical assessment was done on at the end of May, 2012.
My overall comment is that they have not started to process my application, my file has been in Ottawa since the beginning (Feb 2, 2012), and in the line waiting for processing.
