Ya I have heard that it is going to save me time if i send the RPRF now, that is why i am asking does anybody knows??

i do not have any idea.do we need to send any kind of form with that.??

I wanted to do the same... But at this point I am not sure where my application is at. With Buffalo closing, the files could be in transit or even shelved at Ottawa

Thats why I thought I would wait till the status changes to 'in process' or I get any communication from their side. Any suggestions folks?

according to sharuu, a veteran hero still waiting for his PPR, it is a good idea to order GCMS every month to monitor your application status. it is your right and it is free if you are in canada. No guess, no rumor, all truth. Google GCMS and you can get familiar with it and appreciate it. I am going to order mine shortly.

i think they update ecas status more then once a week and not on a particular day. i saw decision made on 25 june with my india address. on 26 june my current address was updated with my winnipeg address. i am waiting for my passport now.

did they ask you for a finger prints police certificate ??? and I have done my medical last week I will pay the RPRF next week because i havnt paid them yrt

I also feel the same way .. coz unlike before, we have sent our documents to sydney, and as mentioned on the website, if there is any documents missing, they would send it back to us rather than request for additional documents.. my only concern is even if they send back the documents to us, they would do it only via snail mail and further more, it is quite expensive to send the documents for me from India via courier (which obviously is faster than regular mail or speed post) and it would cause unnecessary delays.. from what I see, I am sure we would get an AOR only from CIO, and then they would send the documents to our concerned visa offices and from there, there would do the necessary work for MR, RPRF and PPR (again.. this is just an assumption and something I am hoping for).

Although, I did notice something on the checklist, which says we need to keep a copy of all the documents that we sent to CIO, which I again I assume is probably something we might need to do and send to the concerned visa office, mind you, all these are assumptions that I have made based on the new changes.

Whatever said and done, I just do not understand how doing any of this is going to help them reduce the processing times, from the way I look at it, it is absolutely unnecessary causing us painful and delayed processing times.. anyways .. keep pooling in ur thoughts peeps.. I hope we all get our PPR and MR soon.. Cheers

What does this mean?

Hello Holygun.. I thing the address in ecase.. Is part of the changes in the new process... Before, the address disappear and appear have a meaning. Now it is not a signal. I read somebody that just receive the AOR check ecase and show his address. So lets wait and see. Cheers

I have also applied for PR thru CIO Sydney Nova Scotia under SINP category and my file was recieved on January 20 2012 as per the status showing online.Since then I have not seen update.Is there some one else who is going thru a similar situation.

Sorry I havent been responding much lately n ive been super busy and my computer crashed (literally) about a week ago and its been at the repair shop since.. anyways tried my best to respond using my phone.. but yea .. it aint all that easy .. finally got hold of another computer... anyways good to see a lotta good things happening in this thread, I have updated most of the info on the tracksheet and i think its all good, but please bare with me if I missed out any info, so if all of you could take a minute and review your info and if there is something missing or something needs to be changed, please lemme know.. have a good you guys .. once again .. congrats to all who have seen some good news in the past week and really happy for those who have got their passports back with the Magic V.. congrats all once again.. god bless each and every one of you abundantly .. 8) 8) 8) 8) 8)
