actually very happy for you! your application is moving faster than ours. hope me and rubyhero and others who applied earlier than you start hearing or change in their status soon.
Now its getting really tiring to wait. But I am not losing hope...i am sure it will come :)

My guess...

NDVO transferred a bunch of files to hong kong which they reveived from March 21st to April 16 to be processed from Hong Kong ofiice.

Hark's file was received by NDVO on 17th April and NDVO ofiice might have started to process it self what they have from 17th APril.

May be that's why Hark file gone in process and still not of others who applied befor him and after cherry.

lets assume that's the scenario, wats your guess on date that we would here from them? :)

Hi Mannu,

Good day, Do you know about this?

Starting July 1, 2012 - most Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) applicants to semi- or low-skilled professions will need language testing. This test will show whether your skills meet a minimum standard in each of these four categories: listening, speaking, reading and writing.

This does not apply if you are a temporary foreign worker in a NOC C & D occupation, and who:

enter Canada on or before July 1, 2012, and
are nominated by an employer under the PNP streams by July 1, 2013.

That means all who are not gona make it to Canada before July 1, 2012 have to provide the IELTS result (Including the Family streamer's), Right??

Arise

hey guys

i am new to this forum.........its gr8 to see the efforts of you all....
i have some confusion regarding the status.....it would be gr8 if any one of you can respond the same

My application has been recd by CIO , Nova Scotia on 26th jan'12
Current status is in process and i am still waiting for medical / passport request
what i have seen in this forum , there are people who are at the same stage where i am.....
so just wanted to know is there anybody whose status is/was 'In process' and has got the medical/passport request

As far as my knowledge is concerned the normal process is : First we should get medical / passport request then only the status changes to 'In process'.

please let me know if anyone from you has faced the same , and how much time it took to get the request?

thanks
bains
