have u fixed an appointment yet with a DMP ?? better make it quick .. dunno about punjab .. but here in kerala .. i got an appointment only after 11 days .. n there are 5 DMPs in kerala .. but all the same hospital .. and that too in the capital.. cheers :)

No Idea bud.. After my medicals reached visa office.. A week later ecas was updated saying medicals received .. And the same way .. My RPRF was encased exactly a week after it reached the VO.. Now I'm waiting for decision made .. Dunno when thats gonna happen.. Now that almost everything is done I hope they issue before the end of the month or maybe by mid June .. Cheers

i guess you will have to wait approx 90 days, normally you will receive it within 90 days.

its only been 4 weeks.. if u dont hear from them in 6 weeks.. u can send them an email to CIO‑Sydney‑Search‑Enquiry@cic.gc.ca... hope this helps.. cheers

Thanks Mannu for such a nice forum to get info in advance rather guessing.

Congrats Cherry...I had feeling that after mannu NDVO might have transferred bunch of files to Hong kong thats why we are not getting medical and here you have given very good news and answere to many question.

Basically Hong Kong office is helping out NDVO.

This is now answere to my question as well I was asking to me why my files transferred to Hong Kong.

Hi Manu

i have got my medical done a week before you and waiting for visa. i heard i have to show 10 thousand dollars traveler cheque when i land in Canada. i guess whatever we have shown in our bank account, we have to take it with us. is it true? Please help.

Hi rajvir,

Congrats on ur medicals.. Jus a quick question tho.. Did u apply to CIO Sydney or new Delhi directly ?? Please share ur timeline ok.. Also.. Yes we need to show funds when we land to an immigration officer there .. And it's better to carry 8000 in travellers cheque an 2000 in cash .. Also if u carry more than 10000 u need to declare it .. Cheers
